In a follow up to Princeton Future’s meeting on April 30, 2022, Planner Tony Nelessen outlined areas that people felt were susceptible to change in the North Harrison area, then Westminster Choir College and nearby sites, sections of Harrison, Broadmead, and the Butler tract, the Witherspoon Corridor, two downtown areas, and Lower Alexander. Participants suggested what kinds of changes they would like to see.

Community Listening Meeting March 5, 2022

COMMUNITY INPUT OPEN MEETING, MARCH 5, 2022
At the beginning of the municipality’s process to rewrite the Community Master Plan, Princeton Future invited residents to share their hopes and desires for the character and quality of the town in the years to come. More than 30 residents took their turn at the mic, beginning with Louise Wilson, chair of the Princeton Planning Board, who outlined the official master planning process and welcomed input from the community.

Community Visioning — May 20, 2017 Video

After presentations by Alain Kornhauser on mobility options, David Cohen on smart growth, Alvin McGowen on affordable housing, and Jim Constantine on proactive planning, participants broke into groups to consider redevelopment possibilities for a half dozen neighborhoods around town. 

The meeting was moderated by Princeton Future board chair Kevin Wilkes.
